Bible Chronology - By Ivan Panin “An absolute masterpiece of intellectual precision, consistency and brilliant insight.” Systematically unravels the entire string of problematic chronological texts scholars have labored over for years. This book will absolutely restore your faith in the Biblical record! New Expanded annotated Edition! 188 pages $10
Dr. Ivan Panin was born in Russia on Dec 12, 1855. As a young man and a seasoned agnostic and activist he participated in plots against the Czar and his government. After his expulsion from Russia he spent a number of years studying in Germany. Panin was a mathematical genius, and in the United States he became a Harvard scholar.
In the United States Panin, and as an American citizen, he became well known as a lecturer on literary criticism. His agnosticism was so well known that when he discarded his views and accepted the Christian faith, the newspapers carried headlines telling of his conversion.
He went to be with the Lord in his 87th year, on October 30, 1942. He left behind volumes of work on Biblical Numerology which he insisted proved the divine origin of the Bible. Unfortunately that matter seemingly comprehendible only to those of mathematical genius has eclipsed what is certainly his crowning work-- his Bible Chronology. Panin systematically unravels the entire string of problematic chronological texts scholars have labored over for years without producing consistency or certainty. Panin does both and shows how certain fundamental errors have turned the perfect harmony of Biblical chronology into a hopeless quagmire of confusion and contradiction. The Chronology of the kings of Judah and Israel, for instance, which have been thought to be utterly impossible to reconcile, have yielded an incredible harmony with his clear and principled thinking.
The acceptance of the Ptolemy canon has also added to the confusion. Today, with the Ptolemy Canon upon which seemingly everyone hung their hats is being discredited there is hope that those who believe the Bible will once again take their Book seriously as the only reliable record of ancient human history in existence in the world--just as Panin told us it was (and I believe clearly proved it so) 80 years ago! The incredible proof of that is within this book! Panin is a Protestant brother who has given all of God’s people, both Protestant and Catholic an incredible treasure!
Archaic language has been updated for understanding and many helpful notes have been added.
